Inquire and book
Send me your name, your phone number, the casting you would like and your preferred date. Email is optional. For a placenta casting I also need your due date and your hospital or birth facility.
A 30% non-refundable booking deposit holds your date. Appointments can be rescheduled with at least 48 hours' notice, and the deposit transfers to one new appointment date. For belly and placenta castings I can be more flexible, since labor and delivery dates are unpredictable.

Before your session
For a baby casting, dress your baby in something comfortable and easy to remove or adjust, such as a onesie or a footless outfit.
For hand and family castings, avoid tight sleeves, watches and bracelets around the hands and wrists, and wear sleeves that roll up easily.
Come comfortable and relaxed. I'll guide you through the process and make sure you are ready for your session.

The casting
I position your hands, feet or belly and apply the molding material to capture every detail.
Hands stay in the alginate for about 30 to 60 seconds, until it has set and the hands are ready to come out of the mold.

Finishing
A variety of mat board colors and frame options are yours to choose from during your session. I bring all the samples with me. See the finishes
